Chat sources and answer settings
Open Settings → Chat Agents to control which sources the chatbot uses.
Available sources
| Source | Answers questions using |
|---|---|
| Database | Programme records, including learner, applicant, and poll information allowed for the caller. |
| Documents | Indexed uploaded programme documents. |
| WordPress Website | Indexed public programme website content. |
Enable the sources appropriate for your environment. At least one source must remain enabled; the interface prevents disabling the last one.
Answer style
Choose the available synthesis mode. Structured mode separates information by source; narrative mode combines it into a single answer.
Diagnose an incomplete answer
Check whether the expected source is enabled and healthy, whether the relevant content is available, and whether the user has access to the underlying data. One source can fail while others still produce an answer.
Disabling a source removes it from future questions rather than making it appear as a failed source. Changing these settings affects other users’ chatbot experience, so verify a representative question after saving.
